]]> The Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the world’s largest and most influential wine competitions. Almost 170 expert wine judges, including 44 Master of Wine and 11 Master Sommeliers have evaluated more than 18.000 wine samples.

Only 50 wines from all over the world have been awarded with the Best in Show medals, including 9 wines from Spain and only 2 from the DOC Rioja.

We are delighted to annouce that Las Planas 2016 is one of these 50 wines, scoring 97 points out of 100!

Las Planas Blanco de Viura is made with viura grapes coming from the vineyard with the same name, situated at the slopes of the Yerga mountain. Every year a limited number of barrels is made, ageing in the winery for 24 mon ths, followed by a minimum of 16 months in the bottle before being released.

It is also worth mentioning the 92 points our REAL AGRADO Crianza 2017 has obtained at the same event, which highlights the exceptional value this wine offers.
